Water Outage Issue, Mahon , Traffic Disruptions

Water Alert, Mar. 23rd 2026
Uisce Eireann is reporting a water disruption in the Mahon area. Details at https://mapalerter.ie/r?ref=R469Q. Includes traffic issues.

As part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, essential works may cause low pressure and supply disruptions to Douglas Hall Lawn, Mahon and surrounding areas in Cork City.
There will be a traffic management plan in place for the duration of the works.
Works are scheduled to take place from 1pm until 6pm on 25 March.
We recommend that you allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.
